History
In October 27, 1783 Roger Johnson was given a 3000 acre land grant known as Cheverie. Eventually, the land along the Hants Shore was divided and the village of Bramber evolved.
In 1863, 6909 Bramber was constructed as The Baptist Meeting House burning down in 1874 and later reconstructed. In 1892, it was rededicated as the United Church, closing in the 1970's when it was sold and became a garage.
It became the Brookville school in 1867 closing with consolidation in 1966.It then became a Masonic Centre.
