“Me, Myself & I”
This workshop focused on helping students create representations of themselves through the use of written, oral and visual narrative integrated with technology. The process reflected a variety of learning styles that appealed to a diverse student audience and used traditional and non-traditional approaches to interpret “OUTCOMES” content that included technology, fine and performing arts, literacy, artifacts, gross and fine motor activities.
This process strove for achievement of a gender/race/ethnicity balance in exposure to the teaching materials used. It used an interdisciplinary approach that integrated music, visual arts, dance, drama, storytelling, poetry and technology into the classroom and school environment.
